If you forget your Windows user account password, you may be tempted to reinstall the system, because it would seem easier than trying to recover the password. Windows Password Key gives you the possibility of resettinging your account's password immediately, without going through any complex operations and most importantly, without reinstalling anything.
The application is available in Standard, Professional and Enterprise versions, which have slightly different capabilities and price tags. It can be installed in a matter of seconds, without any kind of difficulties. You can use Windows Password Key with Windows XP, Vista, Win 7 and Win 8, as well as various Server editions. Also, there is no need to install any prerequisite tools for this application.
Clicking a button is all you have to do, if everything is set up properly. The application will create a reset CD, from which you can boot your computer if you lose your password. If one of these devices is inserted in your computer, you can select it in a drop menu, after which you only need to click a Burn button, in the lower region of the interface.
If, somehow, you lose your Windows account password, you only need to boot your computer from the aforementioned CD. This will reset the password and give you control over your computer again.
Pros
You can reset your Windows account password, if you forget it. Creating a reset disk is a simple operation and you can start it with a single click.
Cons
The Standard version is a bit limited, compared to the Professional and Enterprise editions. Thanks to Windows Password Key, forgetting the Windows user account password won't be a cause for concern anymore.
